Storm Tree Removal OKC
Signs a Tree May Be Dangerous
What to look for before the next storm.
- Large dead limbs or a thinning, dying crown.
- Cracks or splits in the trunk, or a V-shaped union with a seam running down from it.
- Mushrooms, conks or soft, crumbly wood at the base — signs of root or trunk decay.
- A new or increasing lean, especially with soil heaving on one side.
- Construction damage to roots within the past several years.
- Hollow trunks or cavities.
Any of these over a house, driveway or play area justifies a professional assessment. An ISA Certified Arborist can provide a risk assessment independent of a removal bid.
